About The TV Dudes

I mean LOVE! L-O-V-E. Is there a term for the TV-obsessed? Like telephile? Or telemaniac? If so, that's us! We are The TV Dudes and we watch an incredibly large amount of television. Even that crappy stuff you don't wanna admit you watch. But our passion for television doesn't end there. We also love the discussion: analyzing key scenes, dissecting story arcs, critiquing characters, and pouring over the latest tv news for whats upcoming. We love it so much that we started our little podcast back in 2010 and we have continued to grow in size and passion ever since.

New episodes are posted every Friday. If you share our passion for all things TV, tune in!

Grant began podcasting in 2007 with 'The League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen' on the now-defunct Spill.com. While ever the enthusiastic couch potato, it wasn't until 'LOST' that Grant's casual viewership transformed into tv obsession. He joined with Randy and original member Gregory J. Amani Smith in 2010 to create 'The TV Dudes' podcast. Grant is also a professional graphic designer, podcaster on the craft beer show The Beerists, contributor on the video game website Rage Select, producer for Beach Cop Detectives and a stay-at-home dad. You can follow him on facebook and twitter.

A longtime comic fan and owner of a comic book store in Texas, Randy also consumes a shocking amount of television. Randy began podcasting in the comics arena with the now-defunct Comic Pants, and since that time he's been on a number of different podcasts. These days, he's on two weekly podcasts, the Roguecast, a comics and pop-culture-centric show based out of his store, Rogues Gallery Comics & Games, and The TV Dudes. Randy's favorite show of all time is 'Terriers', which is why he has a podcast, Beach Cop Detectives, exploring every episode of the show and offering exclusive interviews with the cast and crew. You can find Randy and his store, Rogues Gallery Comics & Games, on Facebook and Twitter.

Ashley’s been writing and podcasting about pop culture for nearly ten years, most prominently for Austin’s alt weekly, the Austin Chronicle, and the geek culture site, One of Us. When she’s not sewing, drinking beer, crafting, cooking, learning to be a chemist, or taking care of her chickens, she passes the time watching cat videos with her cat, Tigertron. In preparation for even older age, she goes to bed early, stays out rarely, and parties nervously. One of her favorite games is called “What am I Thinking,” which you can play with her via Twitter. Her feed @sqwidy is full of stuff she’s thinking—usually while sitting on a bus.

Relatively new to Austin, Kyle is an award winning Art Director and Film Maker who hails from Wisconsin and Memphis, TN.  As a child, Kyle was injured in an amusement ride accident. For years he couldn’t walk and spent a majority of his time in front of a television. Even though he made a full recovery, his enthusiasm for film and television never changed.  Kyle joined The TV Dudes in summer 2016 and can also be found at oneofus.net where he reviews films. You can follow Kyle on InstagramTwitter, and Vimeo.

Les is a freelance writer and graphic designer living in Austin, Texas. He enjoys television to a stunning degree, along with various movies of questionable cultural value. All his exes do indeed live in Texas, but like most UT alumni, he can't be bothered to move away. He is a regular contributor to The TV Dudes podcast, and achieved notoriety in 2015 when he was revealed to be the only 38 year old in America who has never played an XBOX.
